Patient Navigation Programs (PNP) have been shown to improve patient outcomes and increase patient satisfaction. A study presented at the 2015 ASCO Annual Meeting demonstrates how a PNP improved survival, early-stage diagnosis, and various other clinical variables among patients in the Colombian Health Care System.
