Equicare Health Announces Release of EQUICARE CS V4.0

New Version of Cancer Survivorship software includes Navigation & Distress Management, stronger integration with ARIA Oncology Information Systems, and support for inbound HL7 messages
Equicare Health Inc, the industry’s leading provider of care coordination software, is pleased to announce the release of the latest version of their chronic disease management software, Equicare CS™ V4.0. This major release includes upgrades to both Equicare CS Survivorship and the Active Patient Portal. The software now features support for Oncology Navigation and Distress Management programs, providing, an important benefit for Cancer Centers accredited by the American College of Surgeons, which must implement Navigation, Distress Management and Survivorship programs, starting in 2015 in order to meet new Commission on Cancer (CoC) accreditation requirements.
The V4.0 release also includes support for inbound HL7 messages, which enable customers to identify candidate patients and start building their medical records in Equicare during the diagnostic workup stage of care. Finally, the 4.0 release includes significant improvements to ARIA Oncology Information System integration, which allow ARIA users to initiate ECS and APP workflows, directly from ARIA RO, streamlining workflows for users.
